Tripadvisor reviews :

“Appearances can be deceiving

This establishment, situated a short walk from the town centre and not far from the railway station, does not look that appealing from the outside. The veranda and steps up to the reception are in need of a make-over and indeed the reception area is not that inviting. However, our room situated across the courtyard and on the first floor has obviously been upgraded recently. The beds were very comfortable, the room very clean and the bathroom sparkled with new tiles and an impressive shower.A lovely garden at the back of the hotel was a perfect spot to enjoy sun-downers in the heat of the summer. Breakfast the next morning was standard French fare. What tipped the scales was the charming and helpful attitude of the manageress who went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.”

“Briare

We loved it, quite basic but very clean and well run absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and again great service. Just a few minutes walk to the canal and the The Loire river made it a perfect overnight stop. Without doubt we will be back.”
